KAVANAGH, Desmond. Des went peacefully to the Lord at his home on Monday 25th July. Dearly loved and missed by all his family. Husband of Kathy. Dad / Father in law to Josephine and Nathan, Matthew and Sarah, Janine and Tuhua, Paul and Nicola, John and Stephanie. Grandad / Poppa to 13 grandchildren. A vigil will be held at 5pm Thursday 28th July and Requiem Mass 11am Friday 29th July, both at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Te Mata Road, Havelock North.

I was sorry to hear of Des passing. I remember his ready laughs and smiles- a lovely smile.
I know he passed in 2022, but I only saw the notice today.
He will and I´m sure, very missed.
