Derrick Hurst Obituary

HURST, Derrick John. On 18 November 2010 unexpectedly and peacefully at his home, aged 63. Much loved father of Inger-Lisa, Finn and Klaus, missed by Anne-Grete, loved brother and brother-in-law of Bill and Claire, loved uncle of Steve, Kaia and the late Marc. Much loved son of the late Bill and Pam. "Love leaves a heartache no-one can heal. Love leaves a memory no-one can steal." Derrick's life will be celebrated at All Saints Anglican Church, Ponsonby Road on Tuesday 23 November at 3pm. All communications to Inger- Lisa and Finn, c/- 67A Marine Parade, Herne Bay. Many thanks to Dr Jeff Featherston and Dr Richard Sullivan and the Teams at Mercy and Auckland Oncology. We will be bringing dad home from 5pm Sunday if you'd like to come and say your goodbyes.
