Derin GREENSLADE Obituary

So very sad and shocked at the loss of my dear and special friend Derin. So many memories amongst the highs and lows of life. I'll always miss you Dee.

Larger than life, I cant believe you have left this world already. Thankyou for sheltering me in the storm, thankyou for being in my life and serenading us all with your wonderful singing

Derin was such a nice nice man always, laughing,smiling and so happy to see you, this is a terrible tragedy for one of life's top people

I breathe deeply as I write this. Tears well behind my eyes. We met playing side kicks Nicely Nicely Johnson and Benny Southstreet. In 'Guys and Dolls'. Where my wife, Stella, and I also met. We have been friends ever since. Derin sang at our wedding and, yes, our daughter was conceived at Derin's first Wedding celebration. He loved that fact!
He was too good at Yahtzee though...five in a row. What a high roller! Derin, you will always be in our hearts.

GREENSLADE, Derin (Big D). Dearly loved and will miss your larger than life presence in our world. Ollie will grow up knowing his Poppa D loved and adored his Minnie me. Love from the Bills and Kemble families.
