Derek BOSHIER Obituary

BOSHIER, Derek Maurice (Derek). Born December 23, 1945. Passed away on November 17, 2023. Passed peacefully at the home of his niece Melissa Boshier after a relatively short battle with cancer. He was the much loved father of 3 girls, Kirstin, Kim and Natasha, pop to Alexandra and Andrew and amazing uncle to Julian, Melissa, Shelley and all his nieces and nephews. Much loved younger brother to Roger and Lynette. A celebration of his incredible life will be held in December. With an amazing sense of humor and zest for life and the great outdoors he will be missed immensely by us all.

Derek was my first cousin the son of my mother's sister We saw a lot of him growing up camping at Clifton and holidays at Mission Bay fishing of Kohi wharf and sailing in a borrowed Pclass.I spent time with him in our 20s with his 2 poodles and my 3 children lots of happy family times.We caught up a year ago still lots of conversations reminiscing eating and drinking.
