Dennis LATTIMER Obituary

LATTIMER, Dennis Arthur. Passed peacefully at his home in Coopers Beach on 1st July 2025, aged 79 years. Dearly loved Poppa of Georgia, Ava, Paris & Jack, father of Andrew, David, Angela, Shay & Jamie. Loved sibling of Audrey, Nelson, Trish, Cherie & Jeff. Special thanks to the Far North Hospice team. Memorial Service to be held on 12th July at Coopers Beach Bowling Club, 11am.

My parents (Joe and Raima Karam) met Dennis at a business association meeting when he arrived in Opunake. He had great ideas for murals in the town. In the late 90's he designed and painted our store signage. In 2003 when myself and my wife Roslyn took over the business we closed for four days for Dennis and I to theme the store on Surf Highway 45. Painting the floor mural and walls with road signs all created by Dennis. It was great to spend time with him. He brought a lot of colour to Opunake. Our thoughts are with you at this time. Rest in peace Dennis. Karams Clothes on the Coast Raima, Bernie & Roslyn Karam Opunake.
