Dear Jacque & Family, We can't begin to imagine what you are going through & how difficult this must be for you all. Dennis was a workmate of both Bazz & I. Bazz & Dennis started work at STOS at the same time (well, Dennis was a week late - due to surfing committments as Brian has pointed out:)) He was just a damn good guy to have on your Team. We had many conversations about skiing, surfing & my son Jimmys' rugby career. So sorry we can't be there to farewell Dennis. Thinking of you all. Much love Eileen & Bazz Menzies. New Plymouth.

Dennis came through Perth with Rod and young Hobie nearly 40 years ago. I have probably only seen him a couple of times since those days - the 'young lads' camped at our place for a bit before heading off again on a trip somewhere. But I've often thought of him since then and it's easy to remember him now as such a kind soul, quietly observing, laughing and smiling and enjoying life. The tributes already written suggest that he continued to be that person and was able to touch so many other lives on his journey through life. I'm sure all those near and dear to Dennis will carry his spirit with them now and always. He has given fond memories to many people.
