APERAHAMA, Dennis William Ngati Aukiwa Sunrise - 31/10/1948 Sunset - 16/07/2025 Beloved oldest son of John (Jack) Belaire Aperahama and Alice Veronica Corbett. Brother of Margaret, Karen, Alec and Steve. Darling husband of Millie (Tiny) Aperahama. The best father to Marcia and Bernadette Aperahama. The greatest Koro to Te Ahorangi and Tikapa Heremoana. Master of many trades and hunter and fisherman. Strong advocate for the rightful return of our whenua. Nga uri o 28 Maori Battalion A Company, Member of Whangarei RSA and St Francis Xavier Parish, Whangarei. Volunteer Fireman in the Mangonui and Rotoiti units. Long- time committed official to Swimming New Zealand. A kind friend to many A Catholic Church service will be held at St Francis Xavier, 63 Park Avenue, Kensington in Whangarei. Saturday 19 July at11.30am. All are welcome.
