Denise McBRIDE Obituary

McBRIDE, Denise Kay (nee Ereckson). Died peacefully at home with her family after ten years of living with cancer on 21 July 2013. Beloved wife and companion of Alistair, dearly loved mother and mother in law of Alexander and Rachel (Aria), Catriona and Paul Wilson (Lower Hutt) and Kieran (Hamilton); devoted grandmother of Konaugh and Logan (Sydney), Anika and Xavier and Cassandra.; daughter of Linda and the late Bruce Ereckson (Titahi Bay) Denise will be at home with us from Tuesday. Our thanks to Dr Leanne Tyrie and Oncology, Mr Assad Alkadhi and Plastics, Mr Zaw Lim and Cardio-Thoracic teams at Waikato Hospital, Hospice Waikato, the Community Nursing NW Team, and Radius St Andrews (Medical and Pharmacy) for enabling Denise to dance her path throughout this time. In lieu of flowers donations to Hospice Waikato, PO Box 325, Hamilton would be appreciated and may also be left at the service. The funeral will be held at Scots Presbyterian Church, 32 Vardon Road, Hamilton, Friday 26 July at 1.00pm. Communications c/- Scots Church, 32 Vardon Road, Hamilton 3200.
