Denise
We loved having you based at our school in your role with the House of Science. You were so passionate and instrumental in the setup and passed on your knowledge to all those you meet. Many local children have benefited from all your mahi.
We have missed your vibrant smile and our chats. You were always a breath of fresh air in our office. You add such a positive outlook to your diagnosis that we really admired. We know you will be missed dearly by your much-loved family and friends.
Denise, you are now pain-free, rest in peace and love.

We are so so saddened to hear of Denise“s passing and send our thoughts and prayers to her family at this difficult time.

We were so lucky to have Denise help us get House of Science up and running in the Horowhenua. Her passion for science, organisational skills and eye for detail meant we knew we had a safe pair of hands to do the mahi. As well as keeping things ticking over efficiently, she was incredibly resourceful and a canny Opshop buyer of containers and things for the HoS depot.
She enlightened me with the way she rationalised life with her spiritual and scientific lenses and I feel enriched from having had a time slice of Denise in my life.
May she be at peace and pain free.

Beautiful memories of Denise when we were members of Pinestream Quilters. The fun we used to have at club nights & weekend retreats. Then again when we met up in Wanganui. She is now pain free & flying with the angels. Rest in Peace, Denise. Your work here on earth will be remembered.
