Denis WHELAN Obituary

WHELAN, Reverend Father Denis James, CSSR. On April 14, 2021, peacefully at Grace Joel Retirement Village, aged 91 years. Loved and respected Priest of the Redemptorist Congregation. Requiem Mass will be celebrated at the Church of Our Mother of Perpetual Help, 510 Riddell St, St Heliers on Wednesday April 21, at 11am; the funeral then leaving for the Panmure Catholic Cemetery. Vigil prayers at the Church on Tuesday evening at 7pm.

WHELAN, Reverend Father Denis James CSsR. On April 14, 2021 peacfeully at Grace Joel Retirement Village aged 91 years. Loved son of the late Roy and Evaline Whelan (Hamilton) and brother of Barry and Maire (deceased) Auckland. Loved and admired Father D of Denis, Jeremy, Mary-Anne, Matthew(deceased) and Nigel and their families. Father Dennis always maintained a continued interest in the lives of his Whelan and O'Carroll cousins and their families.
