I know I speak for all his friends and former colleagues in Mars companies around the world who were shocked and saddened by Denis's sudden and tragic end. He was a fine man , a great workmate and a wonderful exemplar of the Kiwi spirit. We are all richer for having known him. He will be missed by so many.

To Jodie, Rob, Jackie and families, you were so strong today, Denis would have been proud of you all. He would have loved his send off today.
I will always remember him turning up to the boat wearing mismatched shoes, and my nan naming him 'Denis two shoes'. The name stuck.
Be strong and look after eachother x
