Dennis was my friendly neighbor until I moved away about 12 years ago. I will remember him for his cheerful smile, hearty laugh and his energy for life. Rest in peace my friend.

A complicated life but what a long story. Thank you for a lot of laughs and very practical advice. Rest in Peace.

I first met Denis about 72 years ago, when we lived just down the road from each other in Balmoral. Never did I dream that we would both serve in RNZN communications branch. It certainly makes me realise that life does not go on forever. My thoughts are with the family, and may they treasure their memories of Denis.
