Delroy Dick Obituary
Delroy E. Dick, 79, of Elizabeth Township, died Saturday, Nov. 4, 2006, in the Jefferson Regional Medical Center. He was born Nov. 18, 1926, the son of the late Joe and Edna R. (Eberts) Dick. He was the husband of the late Lois Jean (Forsythe) Dick, who died June 1, 2006. He was proprietor of the former Dick's Diner and Dick's TV and Radio Repair on Lysle Boulevard, McKeesport, and was also a partner in a security alarm business. He is survived by a daughter, Sandra (Jon) Shank, of Elizabeth Township; sisters, LaVauda Peterson and Darlene Woods, of Elizabeth Township; grandsons, Brett (Denise) Shank, of Zelienople, Ryan (Caroline) Shank, of Waxhaw, N.C.; great-grandchildren, Derek, Connor, Kyle and Melanie Shank and Katherine Hinze; and nieces and nephews. Friends are welcome from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the GILBERT FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY FUNERAL HOME, 6028 Smithfield St., Boston, Elizabeth Township. Service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 1 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Ronald C. Lindahl officiating. Interment will follow at the Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Elizabeth Township.
