Della DENNIS Obituary

DENNIS, Della Marjorie (nee Coulter) On 29th February, 2016 passed away suddenly at Wellington Hospital, aged 77 years. Dearly loved wife of William (Bill). Loved mother and mother-in-law of Peter and Roz, John and Pauline, Linda and Darryl, and the late David. Cherished Granma of Gemma, Sam, and David, and loved great Granma of Luke and Jake. Will miss you so much and will always be in our memories. The entire service will be held in the Main Chapel of the Morrison Funeral Home, 220 Universal Drive, Henderson on Monday, 7th March, 2016 at 12:30 p.m.

On 29th January 2016 we disembarked from The Legends Of The Seas to meet our families in the morning. Through texting Della we learnt that she was not well and could not come to see us in the city of Auckland. After Lunch with our families at Mission Bay we decided to text Della who would like to see us. Our daughter Mandy who had the car took us to see Della and Bill at home. When Bill opened the door, Glenys went to see Della. She smiled at her and was very glad to hug her. We spent a very precious three quarter of an hour chat with Della and Bill. It is something we never regretted meeting Della. The time was so short that Mandy took us back to the boat for a cruise around New Zealand. Glenys feels so sad that her great friend and loyal school mate, Della has gone and Glenys missed her very much. In 1970 Della and Bill attended our wedding in Rotorua. It is a long time of friend ship together. May Della not suffer any more pain and let her rest in peace.
