MAY, Debra Patricia. It is with disbelief, and insurmountable sadness, that we suffer yet another unbearable scar upon our hearts. Our vibrant, glowing, genuine, kind, beautiful Debbie, aged 65, suddenly, and tragically passed away on July 25th 2025, during a flight home from Singapore. Debs will reunite with her dearly loved twin sisters Leanne and Vicky Wardell, and her parents Pat and Gary Wardell, whom she cherished. Debbie loved life, she never took it for granted, she had that rare, indescribable 'X-Factor'. People were drawn to her authentic and caring nature, her quick wit and humour, her charisma. Always the optimist, she was treasured by all who knew her. A beloved mother, partner, sister, niece, cousin, daughter, best friend, and most of all, our rock. Debs was a daily support to her children, she was their hero. She loved her family beyond words; her children Adam and Madison, her partner Alan and his family, her extended family, and so many special friends. She was sunshine and happiness. Our lives are forever less, our hearts are broken; the void she leaves is immeasurable. Debbie would want us to continue living, to be happy, it is our duty to do this for her. A service will be held for our matriarch, the irreplaceable Debra May, at 10:30am, Tuesday August 5th, in The North Harbour Chapel of Dil's Funeral Services, 185 Schnapper Rock Road, Albany, Auckland. Please join us for refreshments at The Bays Club, 6 Anzac Road, Browns Bay, Auckland, from 2:30pm onwards. If you cannot be at the service, it will be livestreamed here;
