Donoghue, Deane Crosbie (Deano). Born 19 October 1946, Wellington. Died 14 October 2025. Peacefully at Tauranga Hospital. Late of Nelson and Melborne. Beloved first born of Rachel Julia (nee Hewitt) and Herbert (Steve) Thomas Donoghue. Survived by next of kin. Loved Brother of Jan and brother-in-law of Keith, (Tauranga). Dearly loved uncle of Elliot (Tauranga). Loved brother of Leigh (Nelson). Nieces Katie, Hollie, and five great nieces and nephews. Cherished owner of Mercedes-Benz. A Legend of The Sun and The Age. A great colourful character of Melbourne Journalism. RIP Deano. No more Tech to battle. No Funeral by request.
