DE FRANC Obituary
FRANC de Ferriere, Olga Alexandra (Tid) (nee Ray). Passed away on April 12, 2024. Olga Alexandra Franc de Ferrière, "Tid", née Ray, mother of Anne (André), Jean-Jacques (Marie Christine), Antoinette (Duy Minh), Marc (Martine), and Wilfrid (Jacquie), grandmother of 11 grandchildren and great grandmother of 11 great-grandchildren died peacefully on the 12th of April in her home in Roquebrune Cap Martin in France. Born in 1925 in Kaiaua to Claude and Harold Ray, Olga spent most of her life in France with a brief stay in Canada but retained close ties with her New Zealand family. A ceremony celebrating her long extraordinary life will be held at Château de Carbonneau, Pessac sur Dordogne, France, on Saturday, the 20th of April. She will be laid to rest next to her loving husband, Jean.

Deepest Sympathies to all the family.Roddy and I had 20 years share milking for John and Tid on Puwhenua Farm in Kaiaua,with our children and they were great times,especially when John and Tid came over to their chalet and stayed.John would give me milkings off which was much appreciated.Roddy and I would quite often speak of them with fondness before his passing.L send you all my love and wish Tid a safe journey.
