Dawn WHITE Obituary

WHITE, Dawn Betty QSM. On 20th April, 2018. In loving memory. Dawn contributed 71 years to the Women's Section of the Royal New Zealand Returned and Services Association. From 1945 until 1988 she was a member of the Pukekohe RSA women's section - 35 years as a committee member, five years as vice-president and 12 years as president. When the 94-year-old moved to Waihi in 1989, she joined the Waihi Beach RSA Women's Section and took on the role as Women's Welfare Officer - a position she held until recently. Dawn was an Honorary Life Member of the Waihi Beach RSA. She was awarded a Queen's Service Medal for services to veterans in the Queen's Birthday Honours List 2017.
