Dawn MILNE Obituary

Dawn was a very special person to us. As the mother of one of our closest friends, her son Tim, we met her several times over the last 25 years, both in England and New Zealand. She always gave the warmest of welcomes, was happy and cheerful and treated us like family. A truly wonderful caring lady whom we will miss very much.

Dawn Milne was a gentle and gifted lady, a natural teacher. She knew only how to deal with others with love and decency. Her kindness toward our family, Yates family, is of long standing. She is remembered with deep affection by all of us this side of the Tasman. From Adelaide and Perth: Shirley, Greg, Milton, Mel, Richard, Shane, Catherine, Paul, Trenton, and Nyssa.

Condolences to the Milne family from the Rouse family. Our father Gordon Rouse was headmaster/teacher at Laingholm Primary and worked with Dawn. She also taught my brothers and sister. Dawn was a respected colleague and much loved teacher.

Our family remember Mrs Milne very well. She was an iconic teacher at Laingholm Primary School when my two children went there. We send our condolences and sympathy to this special woman's family.
