David WOOD Obituary

WOOD, David Robert. Passed peacefully on 7th January 2022 in Hamilton aged 88 after a long life filled with so many memories and stories. Much-loved Husband of the late Maureen and Cherished Father to Brian and the late Christine and Garry. Treasured father-in-law to Deb and Adored Poppa of Nicola, Anthony, Michael and Katie and 'Big Pop' to Ari. Beloved Brother to Doug and Doris and the late Bert, Margaret, and Pauline. The family would like to give special thanks to all of David's many friends for their tireless love and support of Dad (especially after Mum's passing) and thanks to the Staff at Hilda Ross Village Rest Home for their care over the past 12 months. Your support and love has been greatly appreciated. Surrounded in Love and Friendship. Following private family cremation, a Memorial Service to celebrate David's life will be held at a date to be confirmed. At peace now, forever in our hearts.
