WOOD, David Ninian. Retired Naval Captain RNZN O.B.E Passed away peacefully at home 4th Aug. Cherished long term partner of Marilyn & wife Margo Wood (Deceased). Father of Jocelyn Wood(WN) and Katy Wood (LA), grandfather to Tom and Rose. He will be greatly missed by all his trout fishing mates, and MenzShed, Omokoroa. As per David's wishes a cremation has taken place. A funeral service will not be held at David's request. Thank you to Waipuna Hospice. When as a child I laughed & cried, Time crept As I grew old and more bold, Time strolled When older still I grew, Time flew Soon I shall find in passing on, Time gone
