David WAKENSHAW Obituary

WAKENSHAW, David. David died peacefully on Wednesday 22 November at North Shore Hospital. Beloved husband of Annette and loving father of Anthea with partner Alan, and Steven with wife Minden, grandad of Jasper. Brother of John and Uncle to Trygve, Dag, Sevrin and Freya. A small family service will be held on Saturday 25th November followed by a larger memorial event later this summer.

I have only learned of David's passing and I am still trying to come to terms with it. Dave and I go back a long way (teens at school)and for many years we were very close. So sad to know that I will never see him again...
