Dear Rachel & family,
Very sad to hear of David's death. You were very kind to me years ago when I attended F&B meetings, where David's level head & sharp perception were very valuable.
Would like to catchup sometime.

A good friend, a forthright champion of causes, and a great supporter of the arts in Wellington. My condolences to Rachel and the family.

Saddened to see the death notice for David. First met at NPBHS and both in 'Country House'- and later in professional capacities when in Wellington. Highly respected.

He was a good man all right. I especially remember him from my time teaching at Kelburn School. My thoughts with you Rachel and the family.
