David Tyrie Obituary

TYRIE, David Bruce. On Friday 8 July 2011 tragically as a result of an accident in Denpasar, Bali, Aged 38 years. Dearly loved and treasured son of David and Mary, adored brother of Maryann (Bert), Michelle and Leanne. Special brother in law of Hamish Duncan (Opotiki), Stuart Miller (Hamilton) and Mark Taylor (Hamilton). Fun- loving Uncle David to Jake and Kate Duncan, Hayley and Sarah Miller, and Ben and Aaron Taylor. Loved nephew of Janice Scobie (Auckland) and Ross and Pauline Tyrie. Dearest Grandson of Eileen and the late Tim Kiely. Nephew of Len Kiely and Brian, Alan and Margaret Kiely, Peter Kiely and Chai, Eileen and Stewart Browne. Will be missed by his cousins Jason and Nicky, Kristin, Angela and Shannon, Sean, Maree and Matt Roberts, Sara and Grant McFlinn, Janita, Amanda and Wayne Leach. Special friend to so many in his beloved Bali and Singapore. Our heartfelt thanks to Darwin and Evelyn who remain by his side until he is home with us. "The tears in our eyes we can wipe away, the ache in our hearts will always stay" We love you David. David will be lying at Waiaua Marae, Opotiki from mid morning Friday until his service at the above Marae on Saturday 16th July at 11am followed by a private cremation. Death is sudden and unexpected but a friendship can never die always on my mind Dave tyrie we all miss you and love you my friend will meet again for a Canadian club and ginger ale at the gates brother rest in peace my friend will always cherish the good times we had.

You have explored the world and truly filled your short years full of life. David, It was a privilege to be your little sister. I admired you and respected you. You are loved with a love beyond all feeling, missed with a grief beyond all tears. We will love you always.
