THORPE, David. It is with great sadness that we must inform you of the passing of David aged 79 years. A beloved husband and friend to Pamela. A wonderful fun-loving father and father- in-law to Jenny and Nathan, and Sarah and Andy. A proud Poppa to his beautiful grandchildren, Hannah, Bianca, Emily, Hayden, and James. "You have stepped out of our lives but in our hearts you will forever remain. Now free from the immense pain you endured with such courage over a long time. We set you free to go on in peace." A service for David is to be held at Legacy Papamoa, 53 Te Okuroa Drive, Papamoa on Friday 28 March at 1.30 pm. In lieu of flower,s donations may be made to Waipuna Hospice at waipunahospice. org.nz.
