David TAYLOR Obituary

Dave was a great Racing personality in his own quiet manner. It was fitting to hear of his passing on Trackside yesterday from the Taupo meeting . Dave was the driving force behind the Taupo Racing Club for many years.
Dave was a Taupo boy growing up and as a young man. He was well respected and liked by his many friends in Taupo.

Sincere condolences to his family.

Just learnt of Dave's passing. A Stylish Dude and can well remember the 1984 celebrations at Ellerslie. Always looked forward to our paths crossing at tracks across NZ as we sought the next winner.
Great memories and will be missed in the industry.

During this time of sorrow, know that I am thinking of you, and may you find peace in the memories you hold of your Dad. I did not know him very well, but always enjoyed a chat with him.
I was very grateful to watch his service on livestream.
