I have very fond memories of David when he was a member of the College Rifles Athletic Club. Such a good long distance runner and always keen to participate in weekend competitions with other club athletes. We always thought he took after his great uncle Bill Savidan , a NZ long distance athlete from the 30.´s. My condolences to Bill and Val at their sad loss. Jill Bignell ( Glenie). Xx

SAVIDAN, David William. Passed away on February 20, 2026 after a tragic cycling accident. Dearly loved nephew of Murray and Christine and cousin of Renee and Fleur. A big man with a big smile. He will be sadly missed.
