David Rutter Obituary

RUTTER, David Kevin (Dave). On April 13, 2011, 3 days after his 40th wedding anniversary, peacefully after a short illness; Aged 63 years. Of Manurewa. Dearly loved husband of Annette (Anne), much loved dad of Nicole, Megan, and Craig, and friend of Nick. Loved eldest son of the late Syd and Judy. Loved brother of Mary, Paul (deceased), Peter, Mark and their families. Our sincere thanks to all staff of the Hospice South Auckland and the Papakura Private Hospital for their care of Dave. A Service will be held in the Chapel of Manukau Memorial Gardens, Puhinui Road, Papatoetoe on Monday April 18, 2011 at 3.30pm. In lieu of flowers a memorial donation to the Hospice South Auckland may be left in the Chapel foyer. All communications to The Rutter Family, C/- PO Box 99043, Newmarket, Auckland 1149.

Dave, you were one of the original members who helped to set up the Manurewa Neighbourhod Support group way back in the early 80's. You and Anne's determination to get the group off the ground was amazing. Thank you for your enthusiasm and commitment.
