David RUSSELL Obituary

RUSSELL, David John Kent, QSO (Dave). Born 28 October 1942. Our beloved Dave died quietly on 25th September 2025 at Karori Village, Wellington, aged 82 years, with his loved and loving wife, Louise Wrightson, at his side. David was deeply loved by his children Kelly, Rebecca, Shannon, Ben and Anna. He was a proud grandfather to Jack, Dave, Anicë, Sofia, Adam, Jordan and Ella, and a loving brother to Stephanie and Rosemary (deceased). He was widely respected and admired for his work as a consumer champion. David has been cremated at a small, private ceremony. We plan a larger celebration of his life and many talents and achievements later in the year. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Parkinson's NZ parkinsons.org.nz.
