David PRYOR Obituary

Dear Lyn, Geoffrey, Jennifer, Anthony, Jonathon and families, and big brother, Ian I am so sorry to hear this news.
David is such a gentle, loving and proud family man, and to me such a patient, kind and generous cousin.
I was especially looking forward to continuing our discussions about piano music and family history and hopefully to visit in person.
As I child I was thrilled to learn that David, like me, collected sea shells. But of course David was a ‘true’ collector and had applied his passion for research. From memory he had categorised his collection and knew all the scientific names of the shells and could tell them apart by their individual and slightly different markings.
This attention to detail and passion he has applied to many things including his extensive ‘family history’ research, which he has collated and so generously shared with anyone interested.
David will be greatly missed.
