Ian you were amazing! You were a dad to me, Popops to Dom, Beau (the late Swaizee and Bradley), as well as a Great-Granddad (Popops) to Tyrese, Braxton, Delilah and Little Bobby. We all cherish the memories and wisdom you shared with us during your life. Your unwavering presence and support was a constant source of strength and comfort, helping us through both happy moments and challenging times.
You taught us the value of kindness, hard work, and integrity, always encouraging us to believe in ourselves. The knowledge you shared, the laughter, and jokes will be in our hearts and memories forever. Whether it was your advice or the way you help us with our greatest achievements, you made each of us feel valued and loved.
Though we will miss you dearly, we find solace in knowing you finally get to rest. Thank you for being you, Ian. We love you endlessly and will carry you with us always. Gaylene & Jason

Ian my dearest friend, we have known each other for over 30 years, during this time we rode Route66 across America, built houses together, drove American trucks and drunk coffee in a lot of places, but mostly you quietly taught me how to be a better builder, oops I meant person, even through the years of cancer treatment and bad days you always made an effort to keep on going, not for yourself but those around you. Everybody you touched will remember you as a caring and giving person who lived a Big life, now go enjoy that well deserved bike ride my friend and Godspeed

Ian was one of the kindest and most generous people I had the joy of knowing, taught me what I know about building and he was always willing to help me with my building projects for my daughter. Everytime he would come in to work he would be stopped by half the customer's and staff for help or a chat. Ian was loved by the community.
