We are so sorry to hear of your sad loss Patti. We have great memories of our many evenings with you and David in Victoria Valley all those years ago. David was a Prince among men. What patience and humour he displayed during our games of 500 when you and I were cheating non stop to try to win a game from Ron and he. Ron died in March so I know how deeply you will miss David. Please accept sincere and deepest sympathy from Lucy, Grant and Karen Matheson

Patti I am so sorry to read this news and my love to you all.David was a very old friend from Takahue/Victoria Valley days and a cricket mate for many years.I was also a groomsman at your wedding along with Denis,Heather and Dawn.Dawn died 3 or 4 months ago and I had been in touch with her on Facebook during the last year or so.A great memory is when I started work in 1963 and bought my first car David and and I did a trip to Wellington to catch up with Denis Tracey at Police College. One thing that sticks in the memory we stayed in a cabin at Masterton at the cost of 4/6(45 cents) for the night. You are going to miss your man he was one of the best.
