David PAINTER Obituary

Sorry to hear this news. Dave mentored me when I arrived Napier 1971. He worked on our section 5 in Napier in between dogs. Loved his attitude and humor. Rest easy.

Have great memories of working in the Police with Dave in the 70's and 80's in Hastings, Great bloke - blessings to the family - Graeme Walsh, Santa Maria, California.

Loving memories of David, a truly great man and someone I feel I've known most of my life.
At times I never knew how to read David. He would say things to me and I wasn't sure how to take them. Then I'd look in his eyes and knew he was having me on.
