RIP David

David, I am so sad to hear of your passing. You were the most creative and kindest soul and the best Boss that I had the pleasure of working for. The tall imposing man I met in the 1980s, that I came to know as David Flame gave so much of himself to his craft and was ahead of his time as a designer. I am so glad I got to spend the week with you in 2008 and I will honour my promise to publish your story. I still have your handwritten notes, posters and the photos that you gave me from those halsyon heydays. The world has lost a Legend.

So sad to find this obituary today David as you were an amazing man with an amazing heart. Without you I would have had nowhere to live you took me in helped me to get on a benefit and gave me a roof over my head.Your house was like a museum and I always loved going for a ride's in your classic pink Mustang with the wind going throu my hair.My heart breaks to think you may have been alone in your last moments just know there are people who truly miss you.I just wish I could have introduced my kids today to you they would have loved you I'm sure.R.I.P you great man heaven received another angel.

So soory to hear of David's death. My mum Isabel Goodfellow has been notified and hopes to be at the service tomorrow. I remember David when i was a teeager and visting Gammie's.

So sorry to hear of David's sudden passing. I have let Dad (Uncle Ray) know and he has asked me to include him in this message. I remember when David came to Rotorua and stayed with Mum and Dad.
