David NEWBY Obituary

NEWBY, David Charles Irvine. Passed away peacefully on 20 July 2012 aged 82. Much loved husband of Noeline. Treasured Dad of Ken, Sally and Roderick and adored 'Gramps' of his 8 grandchildren. David's family celebrated his life privately as he wished. He will be sadly missed. Messages to Mrs N. Newby, C/- 132 Postman Road, Dairy Flat, Auckland 0794.

My name is Lorraine Hopper. Sorry to read the news about David who would have been my uncle. My mum, David's sister Lillian Morrison passed on 1st October, 2020. My gran David's mum, Sarah Jolly, Newby, Morrison. We met you around 1978, when you came to Scotland, Noeline, David and Roderick. Think Sally came over later but I didn't have the pleasure of meeting her. I hope this message reaches you. My mum often mentioned her brother, wish I had looked him up before now. Only took me a few minutes to find this, couldn't believe when I started reading the names. Excitement and sadness. Would love to hear from you. x [email protected]
