To the family,
I had an appointment with an optometrist today who mentioned that she worked with David at Greenlane Hospital and remembered that time fondly. She told me that he had passed away. I was sad to hear that: David was always a caring and interested doctor with whom I had many lovely conversations, especially about Grammar networks and his time overseas. I miss him.
Regards,
Sean Sturm.

So sad to hear that Dr Murdoch passed away early last year. He was like a Father figure to me, I had been seeing him for almost 30years. He went out've his way to help me so many times. Wished I could've been at his service. Deepest Condolences to his family and may he rest in peace...

Deepest sympathy to Dr. Murdoch's family... I'm very sorry to learn of Dr. Murdoch's passing, he's such a kind hearted person, I saw him quite frequently a few years back when I had problems with my eyes. I'll miss him terribly, his kindness, his great sense of humour, he took away all fears when I stepped into his office. The heaven is richer with his presence. May God reward him for his good work.

I'm so sorry and saddened to hear of your passing Dr Murdoch. And only just yesterday I learned this. You were a lovely gentleman. And one of a different kind that you don't find in this world today. Once every year or two, I would see you for my eye exam.I don't know who I will see now? My warmest condolences to your family.

So sorry and saddened to hear of Dr David's passing and only just today.
A wonderfully kind cheerful talented giving gentleman who will be fondly remembered for his services to humanity.
His association with my late parents goes back a long time as Takapuna business folk.
