MICHAELS, David John. Unexpectedly on Monday 8 February 2016 at Southland Hospital. Dearly loved husband of the late Heather. Loved father and father in law of Guy and Jo (Gore), Rose and Grant (Auckland), Alastair and Rachel (Auckland), and the late Anna. A much loved Grandad of Nic, Hayden and Grace; Jessica. Loved son of the late Reginald John (Jack) and Susan May Michaels. Loved brother and brother in law of Robyn and John (deceased) Bridgman, Gay and Bob Croker, Tony and Ry Michaels. Also brother in law of Neil (deceased) and Betty MacGregor, Sally (deceased) and Jeff Vicars, Hamish MacGregor, Alistair and Lillian MacGregor. A much loved uncle and dear friend of many; aged 75 years. Flowers respectfully declined but donations to Hospice Southland can be made at the service. The family wishes to acknowledge the care and support of Dunedin and Southland Oncology, Southland and Dunedin Hospital, Winton and Gore District Nurses, Winton Helping Hands and community.
