LIND, David Hartley Moir. Passed away peacefully, after suffering with dementia for several years, on September 23rd, aged 91. Loved husband of Rosemary, and father and father-in-law of Matt and Lynnie, and Jilly and Greg. Granddad to Henry (late), Sam, Tanner, and Zoe. A memorial service celebrating David's life will be held at Hope Family Funerals, 2 Loop Road, Te Puna, Tauranga at 1:30 pm on October 28th. So sorry to learn of Mr Lind's passing. He was my favourite teacher at Marlborough college .

I was so very lucky to have Mr Lind as my Form 1 and 2 teacher in 1961 and 1962 at Bohally Intermediate, Blenheim, on his return from teaching in Canada. He was my most favourite teacher. About 30 years ago I came across he and Rosemary at my place of work. Consequently he came to Hamilton to watch the cricket and as my parents were visiting we went out to lunch together. My sincere condolences to the family and remember that memories are the business of life.
