You were my first ever friend. I'll never forget the adventures of Mairangi Bay, and playing with lawnmower petrol and matches... A miracle either of us made it this far huh. RIP Dave. I'll never forget you.

DJ, you were many things to so many people. You were an advisor, a mentor, an inspiration and most of all a treasured friend. You gave more of yourself than most would think possible. The times we spent solving the problems of the world will remain always amongst my fondest memories.
You had the rare gift of making everyone you shared your time with feel important and special.
The pain of miising you will be softened only by the joy of knowing you.
