Melvin Wach Obituary

Melvin E. Wach Sr., of Swissvale, died Saturday, Dec. 9, 2006. He was married for 61 years to Rita (Martin) Wach, who passed in 1996. Loving father of Dolores Wach, of Washington Township, Rita Scanio, of Rosedale, Carole McConville and her husband, Chuck, of Venetia, and Melvin Wach Jr. and his wife, Sandy, of Arizona. Mel is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Brother-in-law of Dolores Tortella, of North Huntingdon, and Marilyn Martin, of Penn Hills. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at the THOMAS L. NIED FUNERAL HOME INC., 7441 Washington St., Swissvale. A service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the St. John Lutheran Church.
