David HASTIE Obituary

HASTIE, David John. Passed away on 17 March 2020 in Auckland. Much loved husband of Shirley, Much loved Dad to Christine, Jennifer, John and Liz, Bruce and Andrea, Posie and Tony, Elizabeth and Scott, Carolyn and Mark, Stephen and Diane Grandad to, John, Josh, Brendon, Dana, Benjamin, Andy, Laura, Hanna, Carli, Alex, Aleisha, James, Dion, Michael, Cassie, Sam, Anton, Drew, Portia, Taylor, Jake, Ryan Great Granddad to another 27 great grandchildren. A private cremation has taken place. A memorial will be held in due course subject to the lifting of current Covid-19 restrictions.

Both pastor David and Shirley spoke into my young life and were a great encouragement and example to me I still recall words he spoke into my life as a teenager that have rang true throughout my later years, a true man of God, sincerely sorry for the family's loss, blessings

Sid and I were deeply saddened to hear about David passing away. He was our first Pastor and Shirley and David have always held a special place in our hearts. He has entered into his reward. Praise the Lord .
