David HARVEY Obituary

HARVEY, David John Stannard. Passed away peacefully on Friday, 9th September 2016 at Summerset Falls Care Centre, Warkworth with Margaret by his side; aged 87 years. Dearest husband to Margaret for 60 years. Dearly loved father of Elizabeth and John. Loved father-in-law of Tracey. Cherished granddad of 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. The family are grateful for the wonderful care given to David by the entire staff at Summerset Care Centre. A service celebrating David's life will be held at St Philip's Anglican Church, 92 St Heliers Bay Road, Auckland on Wednesday, 14th September 2016 at 1:30pm followed by private cremation. In lieu of flowers memorial donations directed to the Auckland City Mission, PO Box 5352, Wellesley Street, Auckland would be appreciated. Please feel comfortable to wear brightly coloured attire.

I will always remember you with love and affection. you were my first boss at the University and it was love at first sight.
Im still here 26 years later and we had such a laugh together. Fly high.xx

Thank you Margaret for letting me know David was preparing to depart and I called but was in Napier and the call wasnt answered. i tried your home no. too but you must have moved.
