David GRIFFITHS Obituary

GRIFFITHS, David Liebert (DG). Went to be with his Lord and Saviour on 27th August 2021 peacefully at the Forrest Hill Home and Hospital, in his 90th year. He was the loyal and loving husband of the late Dianne, and an exemplary father and father-in-law to David (deceased), Wendy and Roger Smart, Judy and Mike Maguire, Kim and Mike Stringer and Angela Terrill. A Grandfather to Anthony, Geoffrey and Sarah, Joseph and Paula, Edward and Stephanie, Fynn and Bex, Grace and Dave, Rory and Asha, Seamus, Hamish and Bryce and a great Grandfather to all his beautiful great grandchildren. Our heartfelt thanks goes to the staff at Forrest Hill who looked after him with so much thoughtfulness and compassion. A very special thanks to Mei who became such a dear friend to him and brightened up many an afternoon. Due to current restrictions, we will hold a memorial service at a later time when we can all gather together safely to celebrate and remember David's life. Dad, we will miss you greatly and we love you to the moon and back. Please give Mum a big hug from us until we meet up again one day.
