David GOODE Obituary

GOODE, David Brian. Born February 18, 1941. Passed away on October 25, 2022. Darling husband and best friend of Lorraine. Loved and adored father of Janine and Cushla, Father-in-law of Allan and Bubbles, and adored grandfather of David, Rebekah, Thomas, Grace, Sienna, Tahlia, and Nikitta. Passed away at home surrounded by loved ones after God's call. A celebration of Dave's life will be held at the Mt Roskill Baptist Church, 485 Richardson Road, Mt Roskill, at 11.00 am on Saturday 29 October followed by private cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice West Auckland. ZL1ULN out.

Lorraine, Janine and Cushla,
I just learned of Dave's passing. I'm so sorry and think of you all.
I have been a friend of Don and Marianne Taylor and have great memories of Dave and Lorraine visiting many years ago in Texas and then my going to New Zealand for holiday in 1990. All of you were SO nice to me when I was there. I still remember the lunch at the restaurant on top of the hill overlooking Auckland and my visit with you in your home. They were special times for me and your kindness was so nice.
Remember Jesus's promise...we will ALL be together again in Heaven. I believe that to be true.
