GARNER, Dr. David McNiven. 26 November 1928 Wanganui . Died 13 May 2016 Dunedin. Retired NZ Oceanographic Physicist DSIR Wellington. Dearly loved Dad of Mary, John and Sonia, Steven, and all his worldwide family of Grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins and friends. Beloved of Kirsty Garner, Lawrence South Otago. Loved son of Rev. William and Essie Garner, brother of Wilma and Rex Orange (all deceased). A local farewell for David was held at home in Lawrence on 19th May 2016.
