Condolences from Devon, Jessica & Lachlan

David and I shared the award of a Kings Collage Scholarship for 4 years from 1944 to 1947.
We shared fond memories at the occasional reunions.
My condolences to his families.

Please accept in sadness at the passing of David.
I grew up with him in Gisborne.
Central was our school. Holy Trinity was our church. Choir . Canon Hall .
I knew his dad the bus driver.
David's wife Fay has a familiar name. He would of known my sister Margaret. & Margaret Hands & Patsy Bourke who died in 1950 on the launch Ranui.
When I joined the Police I lived in Auckland single mens barracks and David Flavell lived at YMCA a few steps down the street.
My memories of David Flavell are great . A lovely bloke .
Glad to see you made it to a respectable age .
