My father taught me how to tie my shoes, swing, fish, hike, camp, and climb mountains. He knew all the nursery rhymes and often read aloud to us. Dad accomplished all that is written above- but I would have added that the laughs shared as we put worms on hooks in the rain were precious. I love you, Dad.

Lee and Family - I was so saddened today (1/21) to learn of David's passing and that I unfortunately was away and could not attend his service. Dave was a true mentor and inspiration for me as I began my medical practice at Dartmouth-Hitchcock in 1993. He had a huge and friendly heart that was only surpassed by his Internal Medicine and GI knowledge. I will miss him greatly and I'm sure his memory will live on in the Manchester medical community. My deepest sympathy to you and your family. I know this will be a difficult time for you but hopefully the many great memories you have of David will get you through.

Dave as a physician and as a person often spoke quietly, but with great intelligence, passion, and compassion. He was, as Laurie Davidson said, an amazing colleague, mentor, and friend.
