David BUTLER Obituary

Butler, David. 29th September 1943 - 23rd July 2025 With great sadness, we announce the passing of David Butler, a devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend. David passed away peacefully on 23rd July, with his beloved wife Kathy by his side. Born in Stockport, England, David later made New Zealand his home, where he built a life full of adventure, love, and cherished relationships. He is survived by his wife Kathy, sons Tim and Nigel, stepchildren Kate, Helen, and Nick, grandchildren Kate, Jack, Ruby, and Solomon, and his sister Diana. Preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Frida, and his brother Keith, David will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
