DAVID BRANGAN Obituary
BRANGAN DAVID of Baton Rouge (originally of Michigan) passed away June 12, 2010, after a short battle with cancer. The adored son of Ralph and Gina Brangan, of Waterford, MI, David was born on June 27, 1945. After proudly graduating from Howe Military School, Indiana, Dave married his loving wife of 45 years, Marianne (Busch). They were graced with three children Kelly of Woodstock, GA, Todd of Bloomfield, MI, and Kristin Sibley (Richie) of Baton Rouge. Dave cherished his granddaughters, Ashley, Meghan, and Lauren. Also surviving is his sister Diana McNabb of Hartland, MI. A radio and television broadcast advertising sales executive, Dave was an avid golfer, devoted husband, proud father, and doting Papa. A man of great character, wisdom, integrity, compassion, quick wit, and a memorable sense of humor, Dave leaves behind many beloved friends. Dave will forever live in the hearts and memories of all who were privileged to know him. So that others may benefit from wonderful care and compassion, in lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Dave's name to Cancer Services of Baton Rouge. A Celebration of Dave's Life will take place in Michigan at a later date.
