BOLSTAD, David Kelvin. World Champion Axeman Taken so suddenly from us at the Waiuku Axeman's Carnival on November 19th 2011 aged 42 years. So dearly loved and cherished Husband, Soulmate and best friend of Michele. Adored, Generous, loving and devoted " Daddy Boy " to Brooke and Morgan. Loved Son of Robin and the late Sonny, brother and brother-in-law of John, Lesley, Robyn (deceased), Ross and Elliott, Selwyn, Laura. and Vaughan. Dearly loved son-in-law of Lorraine and the late Rob Richardson. and brother-in- law of Sharmain and Graham, Dan and Tonia. " A Giant Tree Felled Too Early " A Service for David will be held at the Taumarunui War Memorial Hall, Hakiaha Street, on Thursday 24th November at 11.00 am followed by interment at Taumarunui Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a Memorial Donation to the Westpac Air Ambulance would be appreciated and may be left in the receptacle provided at the hall or forwarded to P. O. Box 9308, Hamilton. i cant believe its nearly been a year since the tragedy the family is still picking up the pieces from when our world was turned upside down the last time i saw u was when you took me for a ride in your new flash truck with brooke and morgan it was so fun but sadly it can not be repeated as u are no longer with us rip david xxxooo

I never had the honor of meeting Mr, Bolstad but I can assure you he was a man's man! He could swing an axe harder than anyone I have ever seen, I am so sorry for your loss he will be greatly missed.
